E-TOWNS 8.50 race series kicks off next Friday April 11th ---Gates open at 5:00---Chambered mufflers are required---Rules are consistent with surrounding tracks---The diaper rule is NOT in effect although recommended---Payout is $1000.00 to win plus an additional $500.00 from sponsors to the winner of this first race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!---I know a lot of cars are not done yet so this is a great opportunity for someone to come in and pick up $1500.00!!!!!---This first race will qualify the quickest 8 cars---for a 16 car field all cars must run 9.00 or quicker--- the cars will pit together like Quick 8---Raceway Park is committed to showcasing these 10.5” tire high horsepower cars---Look for this class to grow in the upcoming seasons!!!!

Man, if I had the gnads and the wheelie bars done I might join, but I gotta wimp-out and run Mean Street instead! Besides, don't know if she's got a 9.00 in her yet, only been 9.30 and that was iffy without the bars out back!

Get that car done and out there! ALready made three race with mine so far, bet your engine is still at Jeffs! Come-on man, get it together and get the juice ready, I'll help ya out if I can!

If Mark can make it down the track he has gone 9.0's.....On a car that is driven into and out of the track!!!! He is a nut!

Keith, I shot the car with a small jet tonight. On the dyno it took it from 505 to 625 at the wheels. Picked-up .8 but it ain't enough to run with John and Mark. Only went 9.29 (spun bad in the middle of the wheelstand). I need more time to try and iron-out this combo to try for 8.5's but since I built this as a bracket car to go 10.0 I don't think it's gonna happen. Need a different convertor and gear to run that class............. I'll be there running Mean Street, stop by!

Turbo cars need mufflers? Have a car (99 twin turbo Drag radial cobra) we'd like to run at a few events but it is open downpipe. Thanks, Brian

Hi Brian! I don't quite understand how these cars work. I apologize. Your best bet is to call the Raceway Park office at 732-446-7800, Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
