HI : I will try not to make this to long. I have a blown bbc that is street and strip. Weind 8-71 5.9% overdriven 2 demon 850 650 lift solid roller
car runs best 9.97 @140. The jets were 91 and 96. I change jets to 92 and 96 because the motor seemed a little lean. This slower the car to 10.30@135, now I thought it was ritch. The motor rans 32 degree of time
that is locked out and the car is foot braked with 1.55 60 foots. 8.3CR
and 10 lbs of boost. Now being the typical car guy I wanted more power.
I overdrove the blower looking for 12lbs at 10% od. This motor never sees the high side of 6500 rpm. Thinking it was rich I left the same jetting
and at about 1000' mark had a big lean backfire. Nothing was hurt except
my pride. Went back to old combo never tried anything again.
Need more speed now!!!! What amount of jet change do you think I will
need to increase to be safe with 12lbs of boost. The fuel system is built will
with a Mallory 250 return 4 port reg using #10 front to back and #8 to carbs with 4 feeds.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Best think to do is to call CSU @ 909-851-6955. Sounds like you need some carb work.

On blow through carbs you can increase boost with out jetting the carb up.
