Bad Boys Racing hit the track!!!

Jimmy Blackmon from Straightline Chassis Design worked his magic on the chassis over the winter upgrading the car with a new floater, new four link suspension, 3-inch promod anti-roll bar, wheelie bars, all new carbon interior, etc. We bolted on a new Vanishing Point mustang k-frame with santhuff struts and polished weld magnum spindle mount wheels. Robert Rojas from Chiseled Performance supplied us with a new 3000hp intercooler and custom water/fuel combo tank. Billet Turbochargers and NLR-Power joined the QuickTime Motorsports team this year, and we know with the help from these companies that we will be running in the front half of the field during the 2008 NMRA season. We ran the car this past weekend at the NMRA race in Bradenton, Florida. We arrived with the car on Thursday morning, but we arrived with an unfinished car. We worked on the car all day Thursday and Friday to get it ready for qualifying on Friday evening. We have some new car blues, but with a 7.05 @ 212mph pass during the third round of qualifying we knew the car had some promise. This was the fifth pass on the car since it was completely upgraded over the winter. We have our work cut out for us for the 2008 NMRA season, but we look forward to competing with this 430 cubic inch motor, which is minute compared to what most of the top outlaw 10.5 cars are running these days. Hopefully, the YellowBullet tag on the front will keep this coupe in the front.
