IF all goes well and I get the DP on the car by then it should be a mid to low 9 second car on a slick, but I don't think that's even fast enough to run in the heavy class, as that's the only possibility.

I know the guys from my shop will be there to run drag radial, I'd like to go too and race if I can, but if not I may have to go just to help

dave and englishtown are highly agianst running above the Sfi cert of 3200lbs.
*** huge thing this season is a Competive liv. or whatever its called now a days when you run faster then 7.50's

...I don't agree with discouraging someone to come out and support the Shakedown event. A 9 second car might not qualify, but you NEVER know who's gonna show up or break. Thats kinda like saying if you can't win, don't play. I plan to run my SLOW, HEAVY street car in "heavy" and don't care if my 8's don't get me in the field...still get to enjoy the experience and meet TONS of cool people. Winning is nice...but a lot more than the four winners (one in each class) are needed to make or break the event. My opinion solely of course. BTW...Sooo AMPED for October 4th!!!
