I have 2 street driven vehicles now with polished alum. wheels and am tired of polishing and having them look like shit a year later.
Chroming is too spendy. Anyone have some tips and / or product recommendations that will work? I saw the stuff listed in the sticky above for alum., will that work for this application? Don't want a clear that will yellow or not stick well to polished alum. Thanks,
Craig

I have a set of Billet Specialties wheels on my wife's Tahoe that Coating Specilaties clear coated. They have made it through a couple of winters, and no problems or yellowing so far.

you can have them powder coated in clear, a guy at work had his done and came out nice.
i would powder coat them before i would paint them, would be alot more durable.
What was the stuff that came out a few years ago. Zoops or something. It was hand apllied I believe.

Didn't know they had clear powder coat....I'll ask my local guy about that.
Jake, I've thought about the Zoops stuff, but it's over $100 and if I'm going to spend that I want it done once and for all.

Never used it, but I don't ever recall hearing anything bad about it either.
