I have a small amount of overspray on some Carbon Fiber. What would be the safest way to remove it without scrathing or marring the finish ?
Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Depending on how bad, try one of the clay bar products with the spray lubricant. Works real good most of the time.
You can also try some wax and grease remover using a microfiber rag. Some companies like PPG have different strength W&G products (330 and 440 IIRC) and it may take some of the stronger ones to remove the overspray depending on how bad it is.

I'll try the clay bar, it's a little more than a dusting.
Thanks

You can use laquer thinner or rub it with some compound and polish it just like you would with paint.I wet sand and polish carbon tubs to get scratches out from working with them before final assembly.

I would start with rubbing compound and if that does not work, some ultrafine sandpaper (2000, 1500 or 1200 grit) and wetsand it.
Start with the finest grit, and if you have no luck, go to the next coarsest. You will prolly have to rub the sandscratches out with compound afterwards

Thanks everyone for their suggestions.
I took the safest route, and removed it with the clay bar.
Thanks Again
