Kinda like Junk in the trunk......but worse.......whats the best way to repair a rusty trunk.......a full truck panel or just the center patch panel. You can buy both of these panels these days. Some with bracing and some with no braces. I was wondering how much a full truck pane would take and would a partial center piece not look very good.

Does anybody have any experiance with this body work?
Thanks

It really depends on how much rust we talking about? Does it have pinholes or anything in other areas of the trunk?Have you blasted clean to make sure there is no other rust in any other parts, and is this going to be a show car or just something you just need to fix a few holes in.That will determine how much you replace of the floor. If its really nasty i prefer to replace the whole thing, but if your talking about a 6" section then i would just do a patch panel and metal finish it to blend it in.
