does anyone know what size drag radial will fit stock in a 79 camaro and what sie rim for that and the correct back spacing if anyone can answer that please pm me 79camaro :smt017

I used a 4.5 backspace ona 8" rim should put the rim right in the middle of the wheel well mot sure on DR sizes but a 28 or 29 x 10 or 11 will fit nice it's the side wall that hit's the spring that screws ya the max is about 12.5 I've used the 4.5 x 8 rim with 30x 12.5 ET streets and 5.5x10 rim with 30x12.5 the latter with moved wheel well's and leafs hope it helps

Zeek1 is right on with the rim size, as far as DRs go, I run a 295-65 BFG on my 70, its tight but works sweet. A roll or the wheel lip, and trimming of the shock mounts SHOULD be all you need to do to fit this tire and wheel combo....
