Question about cross bars

I have a customer that needs to use his back seat on occasion and wants to make his cross bar removable. Meaning the bar that goes from right to left from main hoop to main hoop, that holds the upper seat belt in?

Is it possible to do this and still pass the 8.50 ET spec?
I'm thinking that we could put in there with 4, 1/2 inch grade 8 bolts.
Has anyone ever done this before ?

i have seen guy's do it with a swing out bar kit,i wouldn't no if it is legal to 8.50 or at all.i have never done it,you may want to call a nhra cert. guy.
