Hi Guys

Looking for some input, I put my car on a chassis dyno with my present carb from a reputable well known carb rebuilder, had problems getting the right a/f ratio on both the motor and the spray, changed the carb to a stock 850 hp holley and picked up 100hp rear wheel and about 140hp rear wheel on the spray. Called the carb builder this morning and he claimed that a chassis dyno is not a good reference, doesn't think I should waste my money sending him the carb back. He said by looking at the nummbers on my carb there is nothing wrong with it. not sure what to do, I don't want to wait till the spring to find out there is a problem with my currant carb. Has anyone else had experiences like this.

Thanks

I would take both carbs to the track and run the car. If the stock carb goes faster someone has to eat some crow. I'm not a big fan of chassis dynos but 100 HP aint nothin to sneeze at.

Jim, you know the carb builder won't eat crow, he'll tell you that it was your mistake or that you forgot to inform him of something or some total BS answer.

Yea, I would probably just drop kick the thing in the trash for 100hp.
