This tool ripped off a good friend of mine (YB member Ztoy) for the tune of around $4,000 on a crate 355
We found that master engine builder Chad assembled this fine piece with the oil pump pickup crammed so hard into the bottom of the oil pan it left dents !
Long story short, a new 4340 crank and another $1,000 or more later I fixed what Golens wouldn't............

I also had problems with Golen's. Recieved a engine with a main bolt broken off and in the bottom of the oil pan. After being told this couldn't have happened I had to pay the freight back to them to be repaired. The next engine burnt the rod bearings. local shop and

Golen's is horrible - stay away. buddy's 383 - balance job looked like it was done by a child - horrible welding. Rod bolt heads ground away to almost nothing and for no reason - plenty of pan rail and cam clearance. Another freind bought a "custom" long block - no timing pointer!
