,I know this is becoming a common theme, but stay far away from TLI engines in Medina, Tx. The guy is a total scum bag. We didn't find out until it was way to late. We comissioned him to build a vintage 427 Ford Fe. Paid him in full in april 07, and after getting the DA's office involved, and after 8 months, we got back an empty block, set of empty heads, and a junk intake. We paid for a completed, dyno tested motor to be delivered by June. This guy is a professioal scammer. The deeper we dug into his past the more people we found he screwed. He thinks he has got eveybody fooled with his stupid excuses. And boy does he have the excuses... wife has cancer, all my guys are on vacation, UPS lost your parts, that stuff went out you didn't get it? These are just some of the piss poor excuses we got when we wondered where our motor was. This guy brags all the time about how great his crap is on the Jegs engine masters challenge, the only problem is he is not there or his sh*t breaks before the contest starts. We got taken for alot of money, so if we can keep him from scamming someone else it's worth it. Just remember stay away from Ty Loftsrom, at TLI engines in Medina, Texas.
