Personally I am for abortion. I believe most responsible people are not getting abortions. It is mostly kids and or people who can not take care of their own kids. Would this kid want to be alive if this was the case? I know if my mom and dad were drug using low lives I would not want to be part of this world. If they were irresponsible I wouldn't want to be alive. What about someone who was rapped or molested? Should they have a right to abort the child? Need your views and opinions...

Monty......Rapes and Molesting is less than 1 tenth of 1% .....its the line thats used.....however if you look since Roe V Wade in 74.......all you LIB's are aborting yourselves.....hence the '04 lean towards the right.....so keep it up.....How many Future inventors/Presidents/Scientists did we kill off

Not as many murderers, crack addicts and child molesters.. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.. This has been proven over and over again....

Look at families that have abusive backgrounds. Most likely their kids will grow up abusive. Look at kids who were born with drugs all around them. They more than likely will become drug users. Look at kids who come from broken homes.. it most likely repeats itself.. Yes there is miracle stories where a kid does miracles but it is not the norm. Also corrupted kids come from good homes but it is not the norm...

I don't believe in abortions for poorly planned birthcontrol. I do believe in limited situations that this medical proceedure can be applied.
But as you said Monty in a previous post....(not picking on you personally...just noting your declaration) The apple doesn't usually fall far from the tree.
In some cases you are correct in your statement. YES I AM AGREEING with you with qualifiers to my agreement.
The apple falling close to the tree I feel has more to do with the current SOCIAL and/or FEELING based educational system. Back when Jimmy and myself....not knowing just how old you are Monty; the educational system was MERIT based.
A poor example of public education application is in our Nation's Captial. Washington DC spends more per capita on its public school system than any other municipality in the country. That can be the point of another thread in the future. Trust me.....that's a bus that stays idling in my head.
We as a society need to get back to the simple points of:
ENLIGHTEN
EMPOWER
ENABLE
and most importantly......
ENCOURAGE!!!!!!!
By doing that as a COUNTRY for its inhabitants I think we would truely be shocked at the results.

WOW you're old too... :-D
I will respond to this later. I will post a few more topics while everyone is sleeping tonight.. Some may make you smile.. other will probably piss everyone off.. But remember this is a political section and the only stupid question is one that is not asked.. Some may go with the grain and others will go against... :D

I love this kinda sh&^
What is even better I don't fit the mold a lot of people envision of me and note the amazement  when I finally meet people in person. :smt104

Personally, I'm totally for birth control.
But, once a baby has begun life, I think it should be carried to fruition. If adoption wasn't such a hassle I believe many would http://www.karinsxtremepower.com/photo2.html
But since murdering babies is legal, and now starving the handicapped seems in vogue, I think we should keep our options open, and allow parents or anyone involved for that matter, the legal right to abort a baby up until the age of 18.
This way, if following monty's logic, the baby, even at 17 and 11 mos. has become a dredge of society, then we can abort them......anyone agree?

By Bush's beliefs abortion should only be legal in the mothers 72 trimester...
On one hand you say we should kill all "evil doers" but yet you say that we should not allow a mother the right to keep her child before its born.. That's the ticket.. Don't let her make the choice but let the govenment make it when the kid is 18-24...

I believe that last statistics I've seen indicate the white middle class produce more abortions than all the "minority" poverty class welfare moms combined.
Goes back to one thing we've forgotten in the past 30 years: Willingness to take responsibility for actions and decisions we make instead of blaming or making someone else take the fall for our mistakes.
And yes, I have experience here.
As for the evil doers, see paragraph 2 above. Apples and Oranges, folks!

Mike, wasn’t it Jesus who said "When fighting evil with evil, evil will always win" ? So if we, the people, have so much faith in God, why don't we let him sort this out? Or do we only have faith in God when it doesn't infringe on our own interests or wellbeing?

That is correct. It is also said that, "God helps those who help themselves." God gave us the gift of free will. It is up to us to use it in His Service and Glory.
Bombing abortion clinics does not Glorify God. Evil wins.
Teaching our children faith, restraint, and responsibility does. Evil loses.
Killing unborn children does not Glorify God.
Sacrificing ourselves to take responsibility for our mistakes (sins) does.
Speaking of freedom, True freedom does not give us the right to do whatever we want. True freedom gives us the right to do the right thing!
