View Full Version : Steering Wheel Quick Disconnect Question.......

Does a Steering Wheel quick disconnect have to be SFI approved to be used in a race car? The NHRA rule book says any commercially available disconnect is acceptable. It says nothing about having to be SFI approved. Anyone know????? Quartermax Components has an SFI approved & non-SFI approved models & I'm just trying to decide on which one I really need.

I thought it was just the ones with the pin you pull out that wasn't legal.
