View Full Version : help with 67 camaro grill in glass front

Anyone ever put a complete grill and headlamps in a fiberglass front end of a 67 camaro? I am looking to gewt all of the stuff and do it,but I was looking for alittle
Guidance...
Any Help or Advise will be GREAT!!!

my buddy just did a 69. he cut out the front clip very carefully and fit the grille assy from the back side, using screws from the outside to fasten the grille to the clip. make sure you leave enough of the front clip so the grille overlaps (from the inside) and has somthing to bolt to. dont cut too much the first time, take small cuts and kinda sneak up on it, better to take away then to try and add material later. if i get a chance i may be able to take some pics this week but not sure when.

I did it on my chevelle nose.I used the nose bracing and tigged some 1/4 tubing with tabs then drilled and tapped them to us ethem as mounting points for the grill ,headlights,signal lights.I will also try and get some photos to post.

Lets see the pics. We are thinking of doing this to our camaro.
