i have a SBC 406 dart iron eagle heads should make around 500 to 550hp
on motor and spray it with a 250 fogger
what NGK plug should i use on motor # 7 ????????????

7 is pretty hot .... I'd rather see you run a 9.....

I agree with Chris.. You might be able to get away with an 8 but start at 9 and 118 fuel..

Also a #7 might work.. Start at 8 and see what them plugs look like. If there is no heat in them then go to a #7...

Well you can lower the octane definitely but I think at 'least' start with an 8..... never hurts to be cautious.

I agree here with Chris, a 9 series is what most nitrous users use on their engines, it is alot easier to tune with,
Personally I like to run Autolites,myself and for your application I'd run the AR135 plugs, they are in the 9 series heat range,
If you are tuned to optium and find you have a cylinder running a little warm you can run like a AR134 in that cylinder
The reason I use autolite is the ground strap is not shrouding the cylinder, you get alot better burn in the cylinder
Just my .02 on this issue
