I am looking for all the knowledge i can scrape up on sparkplug reading for an injected alky motor. Also if it is possible to tune the individual cylinders by plug reading, as i have a Digital 7 and could do that.
My combo is a 528 cu inch Indy 440-1 head mopar wedge, auto, 8.80s at 3005 lbs. I have 14.1 compression.

You might find this handy Blown Alcohol Motor Spark Plug Reading 101 (http://www.dragstuff.com/techarticles/reading-alcohol-spark-plugs.html)

I did email NGK, and they said to watch for heat on the threads, no more than two threads. I have been running my setup with 90 percent to 100 percent of the base (no threads) ,which seems to work well. I want to be close, but not burn up the motor, and am afraid that the one or two thread comment is for blown applications.
Sparkplug life is another area i wonder about. I have gotten away with running the same plugs for quite awhile, and don't know for sure when to change them.
