I do beleive the talon missed 2nd gear also. the cars pretty local and i've seen it at the track before. fast car

um stock vipers are not fast, and a awd has quite an advatage on the street to the tune of probably 2 cars. so basically it is a quick talon. yippy! i can beat a viper probably buy that same amount if not more. guess what at the end of the day i still have a shitbox and he has a viper.

viper wasnt stock, the money and shit talking wasnt about the viper (even tho the video makes it seem that way). the race for the 300 bucks and the car lengths was some cocky fag from the Michigan in a stock ls1 car...he clamied to see the talon race a viper weeks before the talon actually ever raced a viper. (the ls1 guy was trying to get out of the race)..


the viper owner was extremely nice and talked for awhile before the race.

yes its a 4cyl yes it might be a an econobox hunk of junk but its still fast. give respect where its due.


btw the talon went 11.00@133mph with a 2.1 60ft...all on pump gas..then drove it home..22MPG ftw.

Talons aren't really econoboxes..You can go get one for 2500 and be running 13s the same weekend, but 2 days later it'll cook an alternator, the rear calipers will seize, the front wheel bearings will go, it'll blow a rad, you'll fix all that, then it'll snap a timing belt. The last thing these cars are is cheap.

Wont be when it comes out again, tubbed front and back, 25.1e chassis, acid dipped body and a much..MUCH larger turbo among other things. Says he plans on racing against V8s ($$ Outlaw races) as well.
