maybe a little! but it looks cool! cant find anything for a 79 mustang. i have a 4 inch and the carb vent is touching the hood. wanna build an airpan, just no room

ho fibertrends will make a lift off 6 or 8 inches extended cowl.

If no luck, buy a hood for an 88-93 Mustang and you can trim the front of the hood down to fit the headlights and grill. Good luck
