69 Camaro Ladder bar

How much clearnace should there be on the slider fit to the spring,
.025", .050" or what. Put on new springs that are thicker and wondering
what the proper clearance should be. Went from stock monos to Landrums with 200lb rate.
Car launches good and runs straight, but during maint tare down found sizeable shinny spot on spring like it needs more clearance..

i don't have much experience with leafsprung ladderbar cars but,if any part is bound up or galling it may be prone to failure or inconsistency.i would call the manufacturer.
