I see the pump gas drag cars were doing it...some were doing it with 13.1 comp or more...
I want to run pump gas in my engine for the 06 season...and still go fast...not necesarly race it with pump gas but run it on the street safely... but maybe i will run the pump gas drags not sure yet on that

My current engine is a 408ci sbc 13.1 comp nos cam
it has 180-190 cranking compression which i thought would b safe on pump fuel...

Should i jus keep my combo and try the pump gas or build bigger ci like a 434 and run 10.5 comp with a 250 duration cam?

whats your opinion on this one chris? thanx buddy :D

With 190 PSI and careful timing premium pump fuel will be no issues on the street, keep coolant temps down as well. Definately pump the tank (and bowls) dry and run race fuel at the track.
