My previous 408 SBC I used a GM Z/28 windage tray, custom fitted Moroso crank scraper, and Moroso rear pan baffle (under oil pump) with a Moroso 20190 7 qt kicked out sump econo pan.
My New 407 SBC I wouldn't mind finding some more power/oil control if it's available without resorting to major chassis modifications. (79 Camaro, stock front clip) My current windage tray is the solid style, is the Milodon "diamond stripper" screen style a better tray?
While you're here, what's the current thoughts on oil pumps? Will be using standard clearances with FM 3/4 groove main bearings, non cross drilled crank. Std or HV? How about the Moroso pump with the anti cavitation slots? Thoughts?
