i'm doing a stock lq4 short block with some L92 heads that i'm going to port my self..

i would like to get comp up to like 10.5-1 or 11-1 on the engine vs i just bolt the heads on and run a .006 smaller gasket i will be only 9.77-1

so for me to get that i would have to run a .006 smaller gasket and the chambers would have to be 62cc or 58cc.

the cam i'm doing is 246/253 630/630 with either a 110 or 112 lobe

would i smack a valve into my pistons with this setup..the L92s are a 15 degree head also right..if i roll the head to 12 degrees i know it would help me out some.

You should mock it up and check. Plus angle milling the heads is going to reduce your P/V clearance unless the VR's are cut for 12 degrees.

the deck on the head is far to thin to do anything of the sort.

alright so no rolling the heads then

and from what i understand i will smack the piston with the 10.5-1 or 11-1 comp so i guess i'm stuck with 9.77-1 comp then with that cam.

collin that is the cam i'm going to have ground for my setup that i posted in the other thread.

if i had the parts here i would mock them up nelson but i dont have any parts yet..hopefuly in the next week or 2 i will get the short block and bare heads.

lol the stock lq4 short blocks can take 800hp..u just got to change tod bolts..my buddys ls1 made 700rwhp on juice and it ran like that for 2 years and that was with a 200 shot.just got to put a safe tune in them

i am plaining on rebuilding the short block, rod bolts and a better set of rings to handle the 200 shot i'm going to throw at it..once it blows i will then get diff rods and pistons and go to a 88mm turbo.
