6.0 cranks,rods and pistons?

whats the hp limit on all these..i found a couple complete 6.0 vortec engines for sale at what looks to be a good price around 750-900$ depending on miles

i am wanting to do a l92 build with a carb.

i figure if i get the complete engine i can take stuff off the 6.0 and use it on the l92 stuff for ign and stuff

i would be going with a carb intake,and not sure on comp that would depend on the stock pistons or after market i went with.

i seen in the hot rod they got 525hp on motor..so i would be looking for that plus like a 200 shot of juice..how well do the pistons handle a 200 shot?

I have personally seen a stock bottom end ls1 live for a long time with a 250 shot but it was direct port. I personally would not run that much spray on stock hyperutectics but thats just me. The stock rods and bolts can handle around 6800 rpm without to much drama. stock rods are 6.098 long and have .945 pins. I imagine the HP is not the problem running NA as much as the RPM is.

I would stay under 175 hit or a 78 nitrous jet.

If you put a good set of Rods and pistons in it 1000+/- fwhp should be ok

its just going to be a fun toy..like the orphan that pop hot rod just did a story on..
