Ok so I'm trying to do research on a new fuel pump for my LS1 based car and I get all these really great anacromys
GPH gallons per hour
LPH liters per hour
Pounds per hour?
How do they all equate???
Checked the conversion download Monty posted, but no flow conversions
Help a hillbilly out

Here's another acronym for you: BSFC (brake specific fuel consumption)
Fuel weighs about 6 to 6.5 lbs/gallon and the efficiency of your engine is measured in BSFC. BSFC is the amount of fuel it takes (in lbs) to support 1hp for 1 hour. Your engines BSFC varies depending on if its N/A, turbo or blown. A typical BSFC value for a good N/A engine is between .4 and .5, I think. You can do some searching for other BSFC values.
But basically you would use a known or estimated BSFC and HP values to calculate how much fuel volume your engine will require. Thats where the GPH value will come in handy for the pump your looking at.
