They made this 9" cowl for my stang in my avitor-They did it off a drawing through email-everything fit where it was supposed to.

I bought one for a 4th gen firebird, I think the hood was ok, I have had a few better on other cars, but overall it was in good shape, not alot of work was needed to make it look smooth. just the way it fit wasnt all that great, more of a gap on one side versus the other. here are a few pics of it.

Can you post a picture of this hood on your car? I tried to look at the avatar but it is pretty small. We are trying to figure a way to cover the Kaase BBf that we have in our OESCA car. I have so many systems on the manifold, that it is hard to find a nice looking scoop to cover everything. We have tried a 6" cowl and it hits the front carb on our manifold. I would really appreciate it if you could post or send me a couple of pics. This is an option for my car and I would love to see a good picture. I just hope that this will clear on my motor too and I love the look of the cowl hood. I would not want to choke the carbs though so that is my only dear. Thanks in advance.

I bought a hood from them a few years back. They were slower than hell, but the hood was nice.

Good lawd that is a big ol cowl hood. I think that I am going to stick with a Pro Stock style scoop and flat or mild cowl hood. That damn thing is huge! It is way taller than the scoop that we are fitting to my car right now and I can only imagine trying to see over that thing.

This is the scoop that I am using. It's a Hairy Glass carbon piece and has not even been trimmed down to fit correctly in the picture below and it is still lower than that cowl hood. I am hoping that a flat hood with our scoop will clear now because we finally got all of the solenoids down below the cowl area. We are trying to find a cheap used hood to see if it is going to fit correctly before investing in a new carbon hood that may not work. I know that a 2-4" cowl would work but that is somewhat defeating the idea of swapping scoops. The scoop that we had on the car before would work with a 4" hood and I am also including a picture of that setup.

This is what I really think of the 4" cowl hood and scoop but what to do?
