We are about to test DRT in my 434 N/A 14:1 SBC. The car has been tuned on Turbo blue advantage. This has a s/g of .7225 and a motor octane of 108.5.
My question is upon change to DRT should I jet up right off the bat, try it first etc??
Also could I play with the high speed bleed instead?
Any suggestions would be much obliged!!

Right on Mark! I think we found our 1-2 shift problem too. We are about 90% sure its fixed now! We are going to try to get out once to test before the final event.

I'd put the 2 jet sizes in as well... Check your plugs too. You may be able to play with your timing a bit as well.

If you're brave DRT will demand a little more timing but start with the jetting first... DRT is not that picky about being fat either... so better to be fat and happy, than lean and mean.

Sorry for the slow responce guys,
We did head out but to misfortune the track timing equipment was down.
We made a few pinks style flag starts but the DRT stayed in the cans!!
Weather permitting we'll be out this weekend and will be sure to keep ya'll posted!!

We usually test at Cayuga (TMP).
This weekend we'll race the Streetlegal Shootout there.

Do you know roughly how far that is from Buffalo? Have you ever been to a MOM's race?

9.50 ish. Mad Max Gross runs there every once in a while with his Hot Street car. Hopefully I can crack off some low 9's on the 21st. That will be the first time I've had the car out in about 4 yrs.

Well back with some results!! Out of the box with the turbo blue we went 9.39 at 143.45. A new personal best!!
Switch to DRT and up two jet sizes we went 9.37 at 144.37.
Up too more sizes netted 9.32 at 144.76.
Unfortunately that was the end of the day, no time left to play with some timing or even some more fuel.
Look forward to trying some Q16 come spring!!
