Okay i need some tech help. i have a 355 that my son and i built, 9.5 to 1, sportsman heads, edelbrock performer rpm intake, msd distibutor with msd ciol and 6al box, headers, cam is 221 and 231 @ .050 and 470 and 490 lift. number 5 cylinder is missing and popping out the exhaust, i have checked the vavles to make sure they are set right three times. it has good compression and a steady vacuum reading. i getting spark, this plug is clean and dry like it is not getting fuel. what would cause just one cylinder not to get fuel. Thanks in advance for any suggestions because i am stumped on this one.

A very quick think to check is that your plug wires are not running paralel to one another, if they are it is possible for 5 and 7 to cross fire between the wires since they are next to each other in the firing order. Try and reroute 5 and 7 plug wires away from one another.....hope that helps Doug Smith

x2 Sounds like cross talking on wires...Hope they are not solid core wires. MSD says not to use solid cores..just because of this at low RPM
