I was wondering why it takes so long to get to 4500 rpm(2-step) when on the trans brake? 382sbf -650hp/550flb conv. stalls between 5800 and 6000. Would be hard pressed to run with a pro-tree it is that slow. any ideas?, thanks crazyhorse. :? :? :?

When you turn off the 2 step ,what does the converter go to?
Is it actually between 58-6000?
Are you using a digital 7,if so are you using any launch control features?
Talk to you soon ,Hutch

Sorry it took so long to reply. I never got a chance to try it with out the 2 step. I can see in the replay tach it seems to come in at 6000rpm. I run a Digital 6 box, blaster 3, MSD distributor with a crank trigger. Car seems to run strong, 10.36ET @ 131MPH on limited runs.
