C'mon just give us the cam spec's, gearing, converter fin angles, intake manifold
porting, and piston dome photos. :p The questions that "cbunn" asked just sounded like general information to me. Who does the work is way more important than what parts you started with anyhow. Mr. Magg's Mustang flys, but wouldn't if some average assembler had built it with the same parts and i'm sure very few of us could afford to duplicate it.

Lets see wasnt it a very consistant 8.60-8.70 car that won the championship last year. If I remember right there was some lack luster lights by Mag. Hopefully he can do a better job on the tree or he will have the same problem this year.Got to be consistant and CUT a light thats all there is to it.:-D:-D

The car was always consistant and fast. He just had some bad breaks and well you are correct on the lights, but after he learned their games on the tree he did pretty well. I believe he won the last three races(including race wars). It should be a pretty good year and as far as a new combintion that car is going to be the same as it was last year why change it?
P.S. I dont think you'll have to worry about any new style cars this year:smt110 From my understanding from the way things look we may have our first repeat champion:smt115

lights??? He lost one race on a holeshot by Kevin. First race got shut down for a small oil leak on a bye run, second race starter took a shit in the final. I don't know if you can say driver error was the problem last year in fact I think he saved a couple rounds by riding out some bumper scrapers that most people would have shut down after soiling their fire suits. Also if I remember correctly Kevin nearly gave the championship away by lighting the red bulb in the last race against a car he had covered by a half second but I didn't see one post about that...........................everybody has their good and bad moments, no excuses shit happens!!!! Should be a fun year.

The night he did the big wheelie if I recall right he was #1 or #2 qualifier and made it to the semis DID the big wheelie lost lane choice and was put in the left lane then blew the tires off...That is inconsistant.Need to be able to get down both lanes not just the right. So if you do lose lane choice you can tune it for the lane.Good luck boys your gonna need it thats all I got to say SEE YA AT THE FINISH LINE........ :p:p:p

The all motor class at milan is one of my favorite classes to watch. And after watching it it seems that the Firebird just got a taste of there own medicine. All three of them (Matt, Kevin, and Val) where double bulbing all year so when they get a taste of there own medicine the other guys are fucked in there head, are you serious? Good thing Kevin is putting a Bruno in his car cause it would of been fair game. As far as the double bulbing went they said it was to hard with a clutch to stage second, look at pro stock. Well, I usually refrain from getting into any kind of internet bickering and was contimplating responding, but after I realized that its idiotic posts like this, posted by ( nameless people using and alias ) that I realized- when someone else reads this that may not know the truth, it can be taken as fact. I do hope that people that read something like this from an unnamed internet gangster they take it for what its worth and consider the sorce.
First of all, before the night mentioned with the double bulbing incidents, I have never porposely double bulbed any one, in fact the only time I can remember ever db before that is against Bruce Sneed in a final round-- and yes, I did back out of the lights and we staged correctly. The night I db darrin, was in direct relation with him db matt. Was it right to do? some think so, to be honest, it felt good to do that that night- but after that I kinda felt like a tool getting involved in those kind of antics and appologized for it.
As for Matt or Val, I was not driving their cars- they are their own drivers. And by the way, that was the FIRST time Val has ever raced anything in his life, He is a street racer, but very green at the track.
As for me getting a bruno, yes i have one, and I am still on the fence about using it, There is a lot more to just throwing a bruno in and say its going to be better.
While you were talking about other peoples combinations did you mention that that Darrin has a liberty/bruno set up this year? And when he wonders why or how everybody knows, you can explain it to him that you couldnt keep your fingers from typing. One major problem with the internet, if you dont want any body to know, they need to keep it secret from people like you.. You may feel cool when you say it like your the information highway, but in the end what does it really get you?
Now for the most idiotic part of this post quote:
-- As far as the double bulbing went they said it was to hard with a clutch to stage second, look at pro stock. If you don't have the right equipment do run the class.:smt102
Not sure where to even start, but how can you possible compare the two? let me guess , because they are both stick shifts?? How can you compare a 600 lb lighter car with a huge slick and tripple disc clutches to a 3125 lb car, true 10.5 tire, and a single disc clutch?? Pro stock has time in between rounds to have a fresh clutch set up in for every pass. At heads up night, if you start with a fresh disc the first couple rounds are ok, but as the night goes on ( especially for a single disc app. at that hp to weight ratio and no cool down time for the clutch ) the clutch gets glazed and gets real aggressive- it IS harder to inch forward as you have no more inbetween- clutch gets to be ( grab or no grab/ on or off ). So when you say the right equipment- who says what is right and whats not for any particular combo? I am not ashamed to admit that i dont have the money a lot of the other racers do, and i do what i can with what i have to work with.
So please now that i actually had to explain this to someone like you, get a clue of what your talking about before you say it on the net and try dragging someones name through the mud, and at least leave your name, that way other people reading this nonsense will know that you dont even race the class ( probably dont even own a race car ) and that your only a nuthugger telling one side of a story how YOU see it just to make some news.:-D

We can go round and round about who started with the double bulbing but I don't care. The fact is Kevin won the championship fair and square, MY PROBLEM IS IF YOU WANT TO RUN YOUR MOUTH HAVE THE TESTICULAR FORTITUDE TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND STAND BEHIND WHAT YOU SAY. Congrats Kevin and good luck next year.

Any one who has raced heads up has probably played games and had games played on them. If there is a courtesy stage rule, Double bulb is DQed. Pretty simple. If not, its legal learn to deal with it it's part of the game. I have DB'ed and been DB'ed. Intetional and accidental. If both lights come on immediatly, it is probably accidental. If prestage, short pause, stage, it is probably intentional. If DB'ed intentionally, I kinda chuckle a bit then let him sit there a while just for shits and grins. I have 7 seconds to stage after I prestage. But I have 4 gallons of fuel and a cool running motor to pre-stage with.
If you run a regular series, you should know everyones staging preferances and they should know yours. If needed, ou should take advantage of that knowledge as should they. Otherwise we might as well just pay out based on qualifying and let everyone go home early.

Well this proves my point exactly, why i dont get into arguments with no name bullshitters that try to come up with something smart to say to make people think your a somebody. If you did have a car and it is quite faster then my pile, why are you sitting in the stands???? If it was fast enough to compete in ANY class you would be racing it--- i mean thats what a race car is for right?--- so go back over to riches house and continue nuthugging. I will formally introduce myself at the first race. I don't know Darrin. And the only time I ever spoke with Rich is when I asked him at the track how he finds time to tune half the field. So don't slander there name. Once again that shows who has class. As for my car or race car as you stated, you will be more than welcome to come see it at the first race. As for me sitting in the stands they run the slower classes first, I like to watch with my family when I get a chance. Again all bullshit, being an internet gangster I surely thought someone like you would know how to view someones posts, and.... in the first 7 posts youve made under this elvis alias, you have mentioned talking to or being at riches shop/garage 4 times. VERY credible you are. SO AGAIN keep talking crap and hiding behind elvis. And again, with that VERY fast car you have you must have certainly won your races right? what class did you win the championship in??? Im sure the others never had a chance against someone of your caliber.
Please, grow some brains before you post instead of just trying to stir the pot, and this class thing you keep talking about,,you dont know me,,, coming from someone like you that is ashamed to post under his real name,, is that supposed to hurt someones feelings??

I am going to post this one last post and that is it. I have been at Rich's shop who wouldn't want to see what that kid does, but I didn't want to bring him or Darrin into this have they said anything about you? Didn't think so. There goes the class thing. I guess they are the only smart ones by not posting. I have been racing for 32 years Kevin and I know what I saw last year, you can try to turn the story however you like. That white car is the car to beat obviously by everyone talking about them them. Your what is it you call them nuthuggers said it was inconsistant because they lost by spinning the tires ONE time, are you serious? Did they tell you that the AVERAGE 60' is 1.20-1.21. Again you did win the championship and congradulations. But how does it feel to win by default, nice light first round at the last race. WOW, I think you are a very confused person and i do feel bad for someone like you, first you dont know them, then you do, you watch all the races from the stands, and you only watch the slow races, but you watch the all motor all year and you race one of the fast classes, you know enough to mention vals name ( which noone out there knows who he is ) he only raced one race, you say im putting in a bruno, you keep talkning about slander and class, you are afraid to revaeal who you are, yet you try to turn stuff around on me??? poor fella. I am starting to think this is actually rich with another screen name. And trust me you dont want to go there about winning or losing a championship, that is how i know you are just an idiot-- you dont see me and darrin at each others throtes about winning or losing do you? It is well understood between racers that you cant win them all, and shit happens, everybody has good days and bad days, and me redlighting 1st round at last race, well nothing to say there but I messed up, yet i still had enough points for the championship, doesnt look like a default to me. And again, what races did you win?? your getting good at avoiding answering any questions, wonder why?
And I dont need to get into bickering back and forth about darrin this kevin that, this is about you thinking you know something and you really dont, so go hide behind your alias some more and come up with more lies and stupid remarks to make yourself feel good , obviously your 32 racing years have taught you nothing but to be a yellow belly coward. And please, dont come over by us at first race, with a cowardly mouth like yours I dont want people to think we know each other.
This is where you post a reply with some other off the mark comments about something else that means nothing. I really didnt need to get into an argument about anything on here, just wanted to clear the air so people didnt think someone like you actually know what you are talking about. Third hand info is never really any good.

You of all people should not be preaching about childish games. All of this shit is stemming from you and your friend.
You and your buddy need to get a life and let shit die.

If you don't have the right equipment do run the class.:smt102 I hope everyone else learned there double bulbing also, should make some good racin.
Hey stupid, do i know you? Right, so why did you bring up my name? I raced 1 heads up race in my whole career of racing, and raced off a pro tree maybe 5 times, and accidently rolled through and double bulbed. I went over and apologized to Lane, and let him know it was an accident. Who are you to say someone won by default, if someone else was supposed to win, or should have won, why didn't they??? Oh I know why, woulda, shoulda, coulda..

This is going to be my last post . After reading over everything and speaking with Kevin, I can see where he was just on here trying to defend himself when there was never a real need to do that. The bad thing about the internet is that you have people who can hind behind screen names who like drama and like to start it. I am sorry your, Val's and Matt's name was drug into this by one of those people. It will be fun racing against you guys this year. See everyone in May.

Thanks rich, very unfortunate sometimes that some people get drug into things when there was really no need, i am guilt of this too i guess, sometimes hard to ignore very ignorant comments by people who dont know what they are talking about.
