i am rebuilding a 78 volare had a 77 aspen big block got rid of it and now the wife said to make a nicer one don't know if i can but will give a shot

I sold a BB 78 Volare a few years ago. That's one I will always regret, that was the most rust free F-body ever! I never got it done enough for the strip, so i can't help with your question.

Best 1/4 pass 11.16 @124 on motor
10.43 @129 on 100 shot

Just did a cranking compression check on it and it only has 140 psi. I knew the cam was big but didn't think it was bleeding off that much. going to advance the cam in the spring and hope for 10's on motor. At 124 it should be 10's now but the converter is'nt loose enough. Here's some videos of it
