It's also bullshit overloaded too, don't believe half of what you read.
Hardcorels1.com has some pretty knowledgeable LSX people. A little attitude, but less ignorant, "what kind of wheels should I buy?" bullshit.

No. The LS2 has a 4.00 bore.

ls2 are a 4.00 bore engine there the aluminum brother to the lq4 and lq9 engine

and you cant run the L92 heads on anything smaller then the 4.00 bore,they have 2.16int & 1.59exh valves

It is a 4inch bore. I have one. 4inch bore and a 4inch stroke, I just don't have the L92's, I have Dart LS1 heads.

Just to clear this up, the LS2 does have a 4" bore, but it does not have a 4" stroke. It has the same 3.622 stroke that the LS1 has.

Qwiknotch's might have a 4" stroke, but the factory LS2 does not.

I know they have a factory 3.62 stroke, I was just stating that they definitely have a 4 inch bore. The block was new from the factory before it got assembled.

Oh, I didn't mean that to come across like you didn't know what you had, I just didn't want somebody to think that they came with the 4" stroke.

On a side note, is that what's in your 'stang?

Not in it yet... still in the build stage. Waiting for the k-member, a-arms and headers.
Then I will be almost finished, except for some interior clean up

Thanks for the calculator. If I'm doing it right it's 10.1/1 that's less than I thought it would be, I was guessing 10.5/1. I actually like it that it's lower. Rod

LS2= 4.00 bore
LQ4= 4.00 bore
LQ9= 4.00 bore

L92 heads require a 4.00 bore.
