Is there any trick to reducing the drag on the Strange front discs.I installed them to reduce the 80 lbs. the original ones carried and don't want the tradeoff of the drag.On my originals I used an old Super Stock trick made by Bowling Green Customs called a friction reduction kit.It utilized springs and softer pads. The springs and shims kept the calipers from riding the pads on the rotor, you could literally spin the front wheels freely. Now with the Strange Brakes if I jack the front of the car and spin the wheel I get maybe 2-3 revolutions.

Powski is a Strange dealer. Maybe he'll chime in?

do you have a residual valve inline to the brakes? if so what pound rating is it?
Is your master cylinder still on the firewall? or the floor? If its on the firewall you do not need the valve at all.If it is on the floor a 2lb. valve should be fine.
Hope this helps

It the master cylinder is above the calipers you will not need a residual valve. Mine is mounted low now and am using a 2-3 (which ever it is.. not the 10# for sure) on the car.. Seems to work fine..

The drag on these brakes will come and go.. Mine stick sometimes till I roll the car a few feet then it frees up.. Nothing to worry about..
