Fuel pressure

For a Holley carburated engine (S.B.C ) where should the fuel pressure be set? I have heard varying opinions from 6 to 8 psi. This just seems like a big variance. Engine makes approx. 620hp N/A. :smt017

The magazine jockeys say 6 psi. I say 8 minimum. I use 9-9.5... never had an issue in all the years been doing it. I won't tell you 9 simply because those said magazine jockeys will start crying that it can't be done.
