You made 885 with a NOS piston, NOS ring pack and NOS cam???

I assume this was on a Superflow? Even so, those are some big numbers. NICE!!!!

Go with C23 with that much compression and nitrous.

I would recommend the C23. I do have customers spraying 3 stages on NO2 with no problem though. The C23 has a bigger tuning window. Plus it seems you can be a bit off with your tune up and not hurt pistons.

Thanks,
Jason

Yes, that was with big rod, heavy piston and ring pack and vr 50 oil. But what the hell is a NOS cam? My cam was made for my combo.

Thanks for the help everyone.

A power adder cam usually has a wider LSA than a N/A cam. Usually 112 to 114 degrees.

I was just tring to be a little funny, Nelson. LSA is 113.

What induction do you have? One or two carb cast or sheetmetal intake?

Ben, sheetmetal with single domn.
Sam, This is my first nitrous engine and I will learn as I test and make changes but I've always like to do thing a little different then the norm. If we all played follow the leader then racing would be boring.

Sam, Al Moody dyno'd the engine in Atlanta in May and yes it was a Superflow. Are you done with FFW or will we see you over there some more? Hope to see you running with FFW.

I've got a 14.6:1 SBC, 414ci, makes about 600hp, runs 10.0's @136 on motor. Want to use between a 100hp to 300hp shot. Currently use Sunoco Blue. Have used Sunoco Red (116) with N2O, have also used C16. What should I use when shooting it with a 300hp shot?

Damn Kevin, i knew your motor made some good numbers and now i see why.....wow with 15:1, for sure sneak up on the tuneup and if you asked Tony B. this question, im sure he would tell you C23 also.

I have not a clue what kinda compression Sammy runs his wicked little motor, but mine is only 13:1, not even close to yours
