How tough is it in Pro Stock? I was .014, .036 and .025 on the tree in eliminations and I never left first. Jamie was .014 then Butch was .034 then Bruce went .016 in the final. Like the PGA slogan goes....Man, these guys are good. Good job guys.

Hey guys,
I have a 4 link car so I cant compete in Pro Stock. But I have to put on 10.5 X 29.5 S on my 3000 lb stick car. I'll have about 4 runs to get a handle on the tires and I'm looking for a starting point on pressure or any other info you guys might have. I think I'll be the only non West coaster at SCSN in Vegas and I'd like to show them boys how we do it East of the Mississippi. If there is any advice out there I would appreciate it. PM me if you would like.

You're going to be between 10.5 and 11.0 pounds Ken. That's a good starting point.

Thanks Chris. I was running the 31 - 10.5 W at 8.5# I would like to keep the 60's under 1.25 with these tires which was no problem with the W's.

Hey KEn I used to use the 29.5w tire and we always ran 10-10.5 in my car at the groved. We had an 11 " rim too. Its use to 1.18-1.19 almost every pass/ Note tires only last 20hits.

Go get em Ken! Take some of Milwaukees Best! Maybe they will have a lounge at the track like Atco!! Seems like we are homeless for 08. We're not going to go back to a ladder bar to run NMCA. We'll do tires, no wheelie bars, but there is no difference in perf in the suspension from a 4 link to a ladder bar. Don't know why they think we are so dangerous with tubs and a 4 link. The little tire is the equalizer. Might try the Milan NA deal or NHRA. Too bad we can't fit in the NMCA program. I'd like to harass those guys.

Hey Paul, Pete thanks for the encouragement. Al Miller Sr. and I went to Vegas with high hopes. Put the Splayed valve heads back on (gained 80HP) and the small tires and just couldn't get a handle on things. A couple test passes here at home looked promising. 1.23 60' 5.40 1/8 but could not make it work in Vegas. Couldn't get off the line in Vegas to save my ass. There is something to be said in running the same combo all year. I will probably run our local IMSM 8.60 class next year and may go to Milan once or twice, not quite sure yet.
I have your number, Paul and will give you a call in the near futer.
How are things down under Pete? Hows the car running. Wish I could have met you last year at Columbus. I was a little short of spectacular this year but I made it and I was trying my ass off.
Talk to you guys later,
Ken

Big Ed will be making his debut in NMCA ProStock for the 2008 season, he'll be running a 410" BES engine making good power riding some new tubes.
Ed is getting pretty excited about coming out and racing again.

re-chassied 1980 Camaro, still ladder bars. It will look the same as is did when it last ran in the NSCA.
