Can someone tell me how to wire a Digiset to start/stop a circuit? I want to use it as a timer to do some N/F ratio testing.

Thanks for the reply, but that's not what I need. That turns the second stage on after a set DELAY. I need it to turn on then off after a set amount of time, like a TIMER.

wire the relay backwards. IOW apply the power to your common port on the relay & then the power going OUT to the noids on the NC connection. when the timer times out, it wil still turn "ON" the relay but kill power to your noids. works the same only backwards.

Look at Monty's diagram above that was posted. Connect your fuel or nos solenoid + (or solenoid relay coil wire +) to Digi-Set #4 terminal. That will connect you to the normally closed set of contacts. When you apply power to the timer on terminals 1 & 2, the solenoid will be on until the time set in the timer runs out. That's what you're wanting I believe to test your flow rate for x seconds.
