When to add a second bottle?

Just wondering at what point(or hp level) do you add a 2nd bottle?

Just wondering as I am choosing a bottle mount style and location.

Sorry I should have stated using 10lb bottles.....

I've seen mid 6 second promods run just one 15 lbs bottle then swap/refill the bottle after every pass.

We're running a fogger with 38 jets . Using 4lbs per pass. Bottle must be changed every run.

I "think" a single 10lb bottle is good up to around a 350hp hit? I used to use about 5.5lb per pass. I ran two 10lb bottles together (y-fitting). I would top both bottles off after every pass.

The pressure drop across the run will be a lot less with 2 bottle compared to one. But it does matter how much your shooting. I think 350 is a fair number..

I've studied the pres drop closely, a 10 lb bottle on just a 225 shot went from 950 to 850 or so during a pass, about 65 degrees out. A 15 lb bottle may have been worth a mph or two!
