Autolite AR3932s, or AR3910s which are extended tip plugs.

NGK -7 or -8... I think the prefix is r5671 but not sure.... been a while since I ran ngk.

That's the correct prefix Chris. I use 5671-9 in my nitrous SB2 motor.

so is the -7 -8 like the heat of the plugs?

Yes. With NGKs the lower the number the hotter the plug. Autolites are the opposite.

thats what i was guessing about NGK's. so for a simple 13:1 408 18* (4500+ft elevation) what a good one? -7 -8 is what chris said. is the elevation going to change any of that?

sorry for being such a rookie. this is my first stab at building something wild. stuff before this was 11:1 292iron headed 355 :WGAF

thanks for your help guys

For normally aspirated, if you're using decent fuel I'd use -7 or -8... stick with 8 if you're nervous....

Hey Mike. I actually saw your post about octane and compression last night on the other board and was going to drop you a line. The oiling problem seems solved. I put a spin on adapter on with -10 line instead of the -12 and put a Fram HP-4 on it. That's what Jensen insisted on. I tried a Wix/NAPA racing but noticed a 5lb. pressure drop so I switched back since I didn't want any issues that he didn't approve of. I have had the trans out a couple of times in the last couple of months. I went a 9.01 a couple of weeks ago and won the True Street class at the Pro/Edelbrock race with a 9.09 average for 3 runs. I am heading to Atco on Sunday I think. How are you making out?

My project is held up right now, but hopefully soon...........

CONGRATS on the win.......(maple grove right?).I was there saturday to watch, but the rain was too much.....left early.
