Have a T400 with a brake. Has always had immediate response when putting in revers and also when setting brake there was no forward/backward creep. As of late when I switch to reverse it seems like it takes a second for it to engage and move. Also I have noticed when applying the brake in staging that the car moves forward a bit and then holds.
Is this a sign that something is going wrong inside the trans? If so what would it likely be? Time t pull it out and get it gone through?

Thanks.

I would say it is likely an internal problem in the trans. Valve body problems do not usually show up after time.
What type of valve body is in the trans and what is the recommended procedure that you have followed while using reverse. Normal use of reverse while the shifter is in the reverse position is sometimes not recommended with some transbrake valve body's and can cause damage leading up to the problem you are having.

Let me know what you have , Hutch
