ok my camaro is tubbed and i run a 31-18.5-15 tire right now. haven't had power to really need them and with my new 18* 408 i still don't think i would need that much tire. 10.5" racing is really awesome and so is drag radial. so i'm thinking of running that small of a tire. i don't know if it will slow me down too much by having a big tire but i know i won't have problems hooking it either. but its really cool to see people flying with a 10.5".
i want some opinions on what you guys would do.
stay with the big tire
go with a drag radial
or go with a 10.5" slick (or ET street)

its ladder bar coil over suspension FYI

Hey Dave if your allready tubbed with ladder bar's I don't think you fit into any drag radial class's so why wast the time on them they will be slower, and if you allready have the big tire's keep them for cruising and playin around but get the 10.5's for the track I'm sure you will go the fastest on them anyway and the 10.5 stuff is wild

yeah i've been leaning towards the 10.5's
do they make them in a 31" tall? whats a good wheel size? 10" wide?

They make a 31X10.5 15W. Most paople run them on a 12-14" wide rim.

i was looking more towards a true ten five but i guess a W would work. i already have a 15x14 wheel so maybe those would work.
