I was looking at the VP website today and noticed a new fuel -- VP 113. The motor octane is 108 like the C-12. How does the price compare to C-12? What applications is this fuel designed for?

It is an oxygenated fuel that was made to make more power than other companies 114 octanes. And it does just that. It is very similar in price to the C12. I have a few bracket racers on it and they love it. As long as you don't have to pass a fuel check, it is an awsome blend. It will work in big and small blocks up to 15 and maybe even 16 to one depending on RPM and timing. Call your dealer and try some out.

Jason,

Wish I knew about the VP 113 before buying that drum of C-12 this past spring. What are some typical gains using VP113 over C-12?

How does VP113 compare to CMP or DRT?

I seem to remember you said CMP was around .05 quicker ET over C-12 on my combination?

I have no idea what snowmobile is the fastest. My "Slowsmobile" has been 8.50's :)

I belive VP113 came out after you got your C12. I'm not sure how it compares to CMP as we haven't dynoed them against each other. I'm sure the 113 will work excellent in your combo. Maybe have to try a drum next season.

Hey Pooch,
Just getting the Vp113 in my area, was using the 110, looks like I picked up about 6 hundreds in the qtr.with no tuneing, with the added oxygen in the fuel about how many jet sizes do you recommend going up.
