View Full Version : FP Sensor position w/ Holley Regulators?

Just a quick question. I feel kind of silly for asking this, but on a typical setup that uses Holley FP regulators, where do you typically put the pressure gauge since they don't come with gauge ports in them?

The reason I ask is because of a setup I'm working with that has 2 of them. The each regulate the fuel pressure for a stage of nitrous. I have to put the sensors for the racepak inline somewhere after the regulators, but I would only be reading one side of one regulator. How is this typically done?

Let me know if I am being unclear.

Thanks.

Reading one side will be fine. Use a fitting with a gage port in it. Mount the sensor on the fenderwell or anywhere where there isn't much vibration. These sensors are very touchy and break real easy. Run a line from the regulator to the sensor. It is a good idea to run them little rubber mounts like you use on your MSD box to absorb any vibration that may be there.. The sensor over all will give you a better reading..

I guess I'm a little confused on how you want me to mount the sensor. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of one that you have done would you? The sensor itself looks like it will thread right into the gauge port on the fitting.
