How many rpms will a good steel rod withstand? What about aluminum? What are the main differences between aluminum and steel rods? Why should someone use aluminum rods in a race engine?
How much clearance should be added if you use aluminum rods? I know you can zero deck a block and use steel rods but I have never used aluminum rods.
