I was wondering if any body can help me . I went testing last weekend and put 5 passes on car and everything was fine.then 2 days later went to a track rental put 2 more passes on car and on 3rd pass a stumble at top of 2nd gear, right before i shift.next pass same thing except i let off and hit it again and it pulled through to 3rd and all the way through traps,no problems.now, the only thing i did was took 2 jet sizes out from 92 to 90 in a box stock 1050 dominator, also the fuelpress. was down to 6lbs when it stumbles, its a magna flow 500 pump on a N/A big block chevy.the plugs look fat still so i cant see taking out 2 jet sizes being the problem[ i ran out of time brfore i could put the jets back in]any help would be grateful.as i have a race in a week, any more info just ask...thanks in advance...nick.:( fyi, i checked pump output its 28lbs, and pulled carb apart found nothing also i have jet exts too.

I would not be concerned about 90's in a 1050... that's not lean by any means.... I have run in bad air, 86's in an 1150..... course it's all relative to the calibration of the carb ut 90's are not considered "lean".

it feels like a fuel problem it drops 800 to 1k rpm when it stumbles then seems to recover the tach is steady not all over the place like its electrical . any other ideas?

Plugs. Quick, easy cheap stuff to check first.
