Ok jimmy I ask here again since you didn't answer me last time.
Fact 1, Gas prices are up .40 a gallon last 2 weeks
fact 2, crude prices are down last 2 weeks
please show me where congress add .40/gallon to the gas tax last week, while you are at it can you show me where the Canadian Gov't added .80/gallon to the gas tax... I must be a moron because I missed these stories.
These big jumps on a holiday weekend certainly cannot be profiteering on the part of your beloved big oil.

i saw bring, if big oil wants to play the shortage game, so be it! in long run they will only be hurting them selves

If they didn't have to make 20 different blends because of TreeHuggers there would be more of a supply...... when they switch over the refineries from winter to summer there is always a shortage..... No I'm not defending them

The cost of crude is only about 50% of the cost gasoline. The current spike in pricing has more to do with the wack jobs in Iran then the oil companies. The oil market is running on fear right now, driving prices up.
