Should I make use of the extra boss on the exhaust side of the head for extra cooling in drag race application?
Thanks

I always did.... Can't relay any benefits from an a-b or anything though.

I always think it's a good idea, . . even in a drag application heat builds faster
at the center two exhaust ports, .. and if there's NOS or forced induction
it's a very good idea to use extra cooling.
It's easy to do, .. so why not?

Thanks for the replies, now my next question is do I just drill and tap the water pump housing and run the lines from there to center of the head? One more question on middle top of the head (intake surface) should run lines from there to thermostat housing?
Thanks

Yep drill and tap the pump and drill and tap the heads. 1/4" npt on the pump and heads wll work. You might run water from the center of the head intake side to the thermostat housing.... I kind of got away from all that though.... just ran water to the header flange.
