I always ran the pressure and jetting that NOS recommended. It was a little rich but it never burnt anything up.

Same here, burned up some stuff due to loss of fuel pressure but other than that the tuneups they give are pretty safe

BEFORE I GOT MINE "PROCKED" I RAN THE NOS TUNE-UPS BUT WITH 4 3/4 TO 5 PSI OF FUEL PRESSURE.

I play with the jets a lot. Not quite square, but close. I leave the fuel pres constant at 6 psi. Just be careful and read the plugs.

I was told by several people that race big N2O tune ups(big to me.LOL) to square the fuel jet to the N20 jet and set @ 7lbs, and that it would probably end up more like 6.5lbs when done. Was looking for others who had tried it.

I can believe that, the darn things are pretty rich to start unless you take the fuel pressure down to 5 or so!

I tuned the crap out of a stock Big Shot Kit for years.Monte Smith, the old Super Street Champ was the guy that turned me on to squaring the jetting. It was definitely an improvement, and I never hurt anything.Eventually I had the plate flowed, and found there's alot more potential in that kit.
