View Full Version : Which pickup for BS3 and COP

We are running the GM cam sync that plugs into the distributor hole along with a 24-tooth reluctor wheel mounted on the balancer. We were going to reuse the pickup that I had on my LS1 that I got from John but it appears as though it doesn't work anymore. I am going to post a picture in a second.

Just trying to figure out where to get this thing because we checked summit and MSD's websites and could not find this exact part and we don't even know if it's supposed to be a hall effect pickup or just a regular magnetic pickup. Or if there's even a difference?

Here it is hooked up to the adapter harness to plug into the ls1 crank plug.

Here is the actual end we are looking for ideally so we can just pop it in to the adapter and be on our merry way.

What thread is on the sensor? Where did you get the Sensor in the photo?

Got it from the man himself Mr. Meaney.

Believe it's 3/8-16 but I am confirming with Pat via AIM as I type.

lol that's what I meant! 3/8 sounded a little too small but it was late for me!
