Any one ever try a procharger on methanol and with mech fuel injection ( like a toilet)? Would it have to be boost ref. or could it be more like a roots style fuel system?

mark micke from missouri did it with an f-3R and a toilet on alcohol and a little bit of nitro i think... non-intercooled. he runs M&M trans in jefferson missouri.

Mark, I spoke with Mark Micke and he didn't run a toilet with procharger on Alky. He did have a home made mech. fuel system and it did work well, just not as tuneable he claimed. But did make a ton of power.
Rons DOES say thay have a bunch of people running there with a procharger, just not over 2200HP. That seems to be the limit with them, than again, how many people REALLY have more than 2200HP. I have it on VARY good info that most Promod teams only have around 2600HP. Food for thought. John 8)

Prochargers are like a turbos but are belt driven.

if im not mistaken doesnt mark mike make liek 2700hp on a 526 methonal injected car. hes runign both EFI and MECH injection too. really odd set up aprentyl alos 4000lbs of pressure for the methonal system
all i can tell you is my car runs 4.28 @170 (2,600#)through a powerglide. i ran it through a couple of calculators and came up with 1,800 hp. don't know to many Prochargers running much faster.

Talk to C&S carbs on the alky carb.....as far as I know they've got it figured out. Might also talke to CSU, but I'm not sure if they're into the alky carbs or not. I know for gas carbs CSU is hard to beat.

C&S is the place for alky carb.
Both CSU and C&S have great customer service.

We ran the rons set up with an f2 in 05 and with a 106 turbo in 06 we have had great luck far as tuning, power the only limit far as power is the fuel pump, same basic fuel system as a roots style blower, just has a boost ref. valve on the return and 16 nozzels.

We made 1504 to the tire with a F3M, C&S alky carb, & BBC with only 18lbs of boost. The car would make 26lbs @ 8500rpm.
There is power to be made with the setup but it is hard to tame for a small tire car
